Transport

We can ship your personal effects to Aussie in a sole-use consignment or as a shared/groupage consignment. We can also transport your belongings by air freight. Contact us to see what option would best suit you.

Australian Customs Service

In order to bring your personal effects into Aussie, you must first be cleared by both the Australian Customs Service and the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS). Every shipment that enters the country is subject to a physical inspection by the AQIS to ensure there are no contaminated or restricted items and, if there are found to be, these are often fumigated or destroyed. To avoid these situations and any expensive fines, we suggest you ensure your items are as clean as possible before they’re packaged.

Packing your items

Using only brand new, top quality materials - designed to ensure the safety of heavy-duty and fragile items of all shapes and sizes - we can professionally package and wrap all your belongings.

If you’d prefer to pack your own items, we can supply some materials to help. We’ll also need to advise you on a number of things related to your insurance and your dealings with Australian Customs. When you choose to pack your own possessions, Australian Customs will require you to sign a security declaration form and there’s also a higher risk they’ll target owner-packed consignments for further investigation, as people often hide things.

Storage in NZ and Australia

Kiwis may be relocating to Aussie everyday but nevertheless, it’s still a move to another country – a huge change for anyone. We’ve moved many clients over the ditch who, instead of sending over their personal effects, have instead chosen to keep them, short or long term, in our newly renovated, ultra-secure, onsite storage facility.
